Chinzan is a very compact Satsuki azalea hybrid with hot pink blooms and a very dense habit. It has clean green foliage with leaves less than 1.5 inches long. This azalea makes an excellent bonzai or serves equally well massed in the low border or as a low foundation shrub. It is strongly evergreen, giving it a robust winter appearance.
